Coliter ® Vertical Check Valve – PN1.6, -20~180°C, Threaded Brass Body for Reliable Backflow Prevention in Vertical Flow Systems
V1 Vertical Check Valve – Compact Threaded Lift Check Valve with Brass Body and PTFE Seal for Water, Gas, Oil & Mild Chemicals in Upright Installations
The Coliter® V1 Vertical Check Valve is a precision-engineered lift-type check valve designed specifically for **vertical pipeline installations with upward flow direction**. Constructed from high-quality brass (HPb59-1 or CW617N), it features a corrosion-resistant stainless steel spring and a durable PTFE sealing disc to ensure reliable, maintenance-free backflow prevention. Rated at PN16 (1.6 MPa), the valve undergoes comprehensive testing: shell test at 2.4 MPa, seat seal test at <1.76 MPa (water), upper seal test at 1.76 MPa, and hermetic seal test at 0.6 MPa (air). It operates safely across a wide temperature range of -20℃ to 180℃ and is compatible with diverse media including water, gas, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, and other mildly corrosive fluids. The valve uses standard ISO 228 cylindrical pipe threads (BSP parallel) for secure, leak-tight connections and is available in sizes from ¼" to 2" (DN15–DN50). Its spring-assisted lift mechanism opens smoothly under forward flow and closes instantly when flow stops or reverses—preventing backflow without water hammer. Compliant with GB/T 12224 (design), GB/T 13927 (testing), and manufacturer-specified structural length, the V1 is ideal for boiler feed lines, pump discharge protection, HVAC systems, irrigation, and residential/commercial plumbing where vertical space-saving installation and long-term reliability are required.
