ZXQ10 Normally Closed Electric Actuator – Fail-Safe Spring-Return Automation for HVAC & Industrial Valves

The Coliter® ZXQ10 Normally Closed (NC) Electric Actuator is a high-torque, spring-return automation device designed for reliable fail-safe operation of ball, butterfly, and plug valves in water, HVAC, fire protection, and industrial systems. In the event of power loss, the integrated spring mechanism automatically returns the valve to the closed position, ensuring safety and system integrity. Delivering up to 50 Nm torque, it supports both 24V DC and 220V AC power options and features on/off (2-point) control with manual override for emergency operation. Housed in a rugged aluminum alloy enclosure rated IP67, the ZXQ10 withstands dust, moisture, and harsh environments. Its compact design and standardized mounting interface (ISO 5211) ensure seamless integration with building automation systems (BAS), making it ideal for pump stations, cooling towers, boiler isolation, and smart building applications requiring energy efficiency and fail-safe reliability.
