Coliter®’s sludge valves are specialized quick-opening valves designed for rapid discharge of sediment, sludge, and debris from water tanks, reservoirs, clarifiers, and pipeline low points. The series includes the JM744X quick-opening mud valve with hydraulic or manual operation, and the JM644X hydraulic & pneumatic angle-type sludge valve—both featuring a full-port, straight-through design to prevent clogging and ensure high-capacity blowdown. Constructed from ductile iron or cast steel with rubber-lined or hard-sealed discs, these valves operate at PN10–PN16 (1.0–1.6 MPa) and handle media temperatures up to 80°C. Ideal for municipal water treatment, industrial wastewater, and fire water tanks—enabling efficient maintenance, reduced downtime, and extended system cleanliness.
