Coliter ® Normally Closed Electric Actuator – 30 Nm, 24V/220V, IP67 for Ball & Butterfly Valves
ZXQ09 Normally Closed Electric Actuator – Spring-Return Fail-Safe Automation for HVAC and Industrial Valves
The Coliter® ZXQ09 Normally Closed (NC) Electric Actuator is a compact, spring-return automation solution designed for reliable fail-safe control of ball, butterfly, and plug valves in water, HVAC, fire protection, and light industrial systems. In the event of power failure, its integrated spring mechanism automatically drives the valve to the closed position, ensuring system safety and preventing uncontrolled flow. With an output torque of 30 Nm, it supports both 24V DC and 220V AC power supply and features on/off (2-point) control with a convenient manual override for maintenance or emergency operation. Enclosed in a durable aluminum alloy housing rated IP67, the ZXQ09 is protected against dust and water ingress, making it suitable for demanding environments. Compliant with ISO 5211 mounting standards, it integrates seamlessly with building automation systems (BAS) for applications such as boiler isolation, pump control, cooling circuits, and smart building management—delivering energy efficiency, safety, and long-term reliability.
