The Coliter® Reducer Coupling (Female Thread) is a brass adapter designed to seamlessly connect stainless steel pliable corrugated gas hoses of varying outer diameters (such as Ø13.5mm, Ø16mm, or Ø18.5mm) to standard 1/2" female pipe threads in natural gas and LPG systems. It features a socket-type inlet that accepts the hose end and a female ISO 228 (BSP parallel) thread on the outlet side, allowing secure attachment to male-threaded valves, regulators, or appliances. Made from high-quality forged brass, it ensures durability, corrosion resistance, and reliable leak-tight performance when used with appropriate sealing methods (e.g., PTFE tape). This reducer coupling simplifies installation in tight spaces behind cooktops, water heaters, and boilers, supporting safe, code-compliant gas piping connections.
