The Coliter® GLY Y-Shaped Filter is a compact, high-performance inline strainer engineered to protect valves, pumps, meters, and other sensitive equipment from debris in water, gas, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid, and other industrial fluids. Designed with a streamlined Y-shaped configuration, it offers minimal pressure drop and can be installed directly in-line without requiring additional space—ideal for tight piping layouts. The valve body is available in brass (HPb59-1/CW617N) for general-purpose use or stainless steel (CF8/CF8M) for corrosive or high-purity applications. Rated at PN16 (1.6 MPa), it undergoes rigorous testing: shell test at 2.4 MPa, seal test at 1.76 MPa (water), and hermetic seal test at 0.6 MPa (air). Notably, it supports an extended operating temperature range of -20℃ to 180℃, making it suitable for hot water, steam condensate, and heating systems where standard filters may fail. The core component is a removable stainless steel screen (typically 20–100 mesh), easily accessible via a threaded or bolted cover for cleaning or replacement. A standard drain plug at the bottom allows for quick sediment removal during maintenance. Available in sizes from ½" to 4" (DN15–DN100), with end connections compliant with ISO 228 cylindrical pipe threads (BSP parallel). Compliant with GB/T 12224 (design), manufacturer-specified structural length, and GB/T 13927 (testing), the GLY series delivers reliable, long-life filtration for building services, chiller plants, boiler feed lines, irrigation, and chemical handling—ensuring clean flow and extended equipment life.
