The Coliter® D342X Double Eccentric Soft Sealing Butterfly Valve is a high-performance butterfly valve engineered for reliable shut-off and flow control in water supply, HVAC, fire protection, sewage, and general industrial pipelines. It features an advanced double eccentric (dual-offset) design: the stem axis is offset both from the center of the disc and the centerline of the bore. This geometry ensures that the disc lifts off the seat immediately upon rotation, eliminating sliding friction during operation—resulting in significantly lower torque requirements, reduced seat wear, and extended seal life. The valve achieves bubble-tight shut-off through a resilient soft sealing system, typically using EPDM or NBR rubber bonded to the ductile iron or stainless steel seat, suitable for media temperatures up to 120°C (with optional metal seals for ≤200°C). Constructed with a robust ductile iron (QT450) body, stainless steel disc and shaft, and standard flanged end connections per HG/T 20592 / GB/T 17241.6, it is rated for PN10/PN16 (1.0–1.6 MPa). Available in sizes from DN50 to DN1200, the D342X complies with GB/T 12238 and supports multiple drive options—including manual, worm gear, pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, or electro-hydraulic actuators. Ideal for critical applications demanding reliability, low maintenance, and long-term sealing integrity, this valve delivers superior performance over conventional centerline designs.
