ZF1062 Magnetically Lockable Union Gate Valve – Tamper-Proof & Serviceable for Water Meter Isolation
The Coliter® ZF1062 Magnetically Lockable Union Gate Valve is a lead-free brass gate valve engineered for secure and maintainable shut-off in residential water meter leads and utility service lines. It combines a proprietary magnetic locking mechanism—requiring a dedicated magnetic key for operation to prevent tampering—with an integrated union nut connection that allows full disassembly without pipe cutting, enabling easy maintenance of internal components such as the stem or seat. Constructed from forged HPb59-1 or CW617N brass with a resilient rubber wedge seal, it ensures bubble-tight closure and full-port flow. Rated at PN16 (1.6 MPa) and suitable for temperatures from -20°C to 90°C, the ZF1062 complies with WRAS, ACS, and GB/T 17241 standards for potable water safety. Available in sizes DN15–DN25 with ISO 228 (BSP) threads, it offers a reliable solution where both security and future serviceability are essential.
